Pasture for Life Skills Development Programme workshop at Beldorney Castle
We look forward to welcoming participants for a Pasture for Life event, with Rob Havard of Phepson Angus sharing his expertise on livestock genetics that are functional and fertile in a pasture-only environment. There will be a practical assessment of the cattle at Beldorney to help bring the theory to life.

Join Storyteller Alis Ballance from SEANCHAS at Wester Bunloit Barn to celebrate Samhain / Hallowe'en with a night of spooky tales and haunting melodies featuring the terrifying legend of the waterhorse. A fun night for all the family with apple pie and hot drinks after the performance.

Bunloit: Mindfulness in Nature - pilot session
FULLY BOOKED, more sessions planned
An exciting event to connect people with and experience the benefits of nature through mindful practice. A collaboration between Highlands Rewilding, Nature 4 Health and The Highland Mindfulness Group.
This event is organised by one of our Community Joint Venture partners, ‘Mindfulness in Nature’, and hosted at Bunloit Estate. Keep an eye out for more details of future events.
Beldorney Community Meeting
We are holding a community meeting this evening on the future of Beldorney estate. Please do let your friends and neighbours know – all are welcome to attend.
Tonight, Monday 28th October, 7pm, Glass Hall
This meeting is to update the community on our equity raise and land sale plans and answer any questions people may have about what this means for Beldorney and residents in Glass and the surrounding area.
At the meeting, our CEO, Jeremy Leggett, will present an update, and members of the Estate and Communities Teams will also be present to discuss next steps.
The purpose of this meeting is to update the community on the current situation and possible scenarios for Beldorney and answer any questions. It is also to gauge community interest and appetite for remaining informed or involved and to discuss the best methods for doing so.

Bunloit Community Meeting
Community meeting on the future of Bunloit Estate
Tues 15th October, 7.30pm, Glen urquhart Public Hall
Following the meeting held by GURCA on 25th September to explore options for community purchase of part of the Bunloit estate, Highlands Rewilding is hosting a follow-up session to present information on the estate, its current management and funding.
We will host a Q&A after presentation of the following:
Overview of Highlands Rewilding business model and income/expenditure on Bunloit.
About the Bunloit Estate, with a focus on North Bunloit, now on the market.
Options for continued partnership with Highlands Rewilding for the local community

Gu h-àrd is gu h-ìosal - Above and Below - Coastal foraging event at Tayvallich
Join wild swim coach Dan the Merman and wild food guide Heather on Tayvallich Estate for this FREE half day sensory and immersive pilot community experience amongst stunning west coast scenery. Together we learn about nature's bounty and wild edibles, take the opportunity to immerse our senses with a dip in Argyll's stunning waters and learn some of the wonderful meanings and the stories behind the Gaelic names that describe our sense of place and the nature that surrounds us. After a dip we will share a wild food picnic together that showcases some of the wonderful wild edibles found in Argyll. Funded by NatureScot and Highlands Rewilding as a FIRNS Community Venture Project.

Tayvallich Community Meeting
We would like to invite you to join us for an update about Highlands Rewilding's work at Tayvallich including housing, community enterprises and land. Bunloit Estate: Guided Dragonfly Walk
Following last year's successful event, you are warmly invited to join Anna Macfie as she leads a guided dragonfly walk at Bunloit.
This is a completely free event, suitable for all ages and lasting around two hours.
If you are curious to learn more about these fascinating creatures and how we monitor them, keep your eyes peeled for breeding dragonfly species such as Four-spotted chaser, Common and Southern hawkers, Black darter, Large Red and Emerald damselflies.
No need to book, please meet the group at the long lay-by nearest the Lenie track on the Bunloit road on August 18th.
